Do you accept commissions? 
Yes, I do. Feel free to reach out to me with your brief by emailing me at info@vonhspalette.com or reach out to me by filling out the contact form

What kind of commissions do you not accept?
Unfortunately, I won't take on jobs that require photorealism. My style fits in between figurative and impressionism more. I will also strongly not accept the request to replicate another artist's work.

How long will it take you to release an original painting? 
I try not to overwhelm myself with a packed schedule because it creates a stressful environment, which I believe will affect the quality of my art. This means that I like to give myself the freedom to create whenever I feel inspired to do so. In other words, there are no fixed dates or months when a new painting or collection is released.

Please also note, all items listed at vonh’s palette are made in limited quality. Once listed, sales will be made on a 'first in, first serve' basis —unless a negotiation has been put into place before item is listed.

Do you sell prints? 
Yes! Unfortunately, these come limited. Most prints will be created upon purchase. Produced by professionals who specialises in fine art printing, all prints are printed using an ultra-fine inkjet printing process on archival-grade stock/paper that has a very distinct textured surface. Each print will have torn edges and white border, giving it a vintage and hand-crafted feel, making it one of a kind compared to regular prints. 

As prints are created upon purchase, please allow an average time of 2-3 weeks before your order can be shipped.

I usually offer prints in these sizes:
6" x 8" = closest to an A5 (5.8" x 8.3")
8" x 10" = closest to an A4 (8.3" x 11.7")
12" x 16" = closest to an A3 (11.7" x 16.5")

Who owns the rights to your artworks? 
All original artwork and any other items on this site are sold under copyright and are the property of vonh’s palette, and may not be distributed or reproduced.

Care Instructions

How do I protect original paintings?
All original paintings have been varnished. Depending on the medium used, I use different varnishes for each. For acrylic pieces, I like to use liquid or spray varnishes. For gouache pieces, I use cold wax made from pure wax and damar resin. They are waterproof (the painted side), won't yellow overtime, and allows for glassless framing.

Overtime, you will need to use a clean cloth to gently wipe away any dust (if framed glassless). If available, it is preferred that you use a delicate brush to gently remove the dust. For any liquid that may have somehow come into contact with the surface of the painting, use a clean dry cloth and gently dab the areas that are wet until it is dry. It is recommended that the painting is displayed away from direct sunlight, as this can make the colours fade overtime.

Where do you ship from? 
I ship from Australia.

Do you ship internationally? 
Yes! :) Please note that I am not responsible for any additional border fees, duties, and handling fees —it will be your responsibility. If you find that your country is not listed at vonh’s palette at checkout, email me at info@vonhspalette.com so that I can add your country to the list.

Unfortunately, if you are from the UK, I won't be able to ship orders less than £135 due to the Brexit changes made from 1 January, 2021. For orders valued over £135, please note that VAT or customs duties will be charged to the recipient (the buyer —you). (Information taken from Auspost.)

How much does shipping cost?
Within Australia: 
$10.00 AUD 
International: $20.00 AUD

*All orders over $300 will be offered free shipping. 

All orders will be shipped as Standard. Currently, I do not offer Express Shipping.

  

Returns & Refunds

What’s the refund and return policy?
No refunds, returns, or exchanges. All sales are final.

My order came damaged. What do I do?
Each order is handled and packaged with care before it is taken to the post office for shipping. If your purchase somehow ends up lost or damaged, please contact me ASAP.

Unfortunately, I am not liable for damages made to your purchase(s) during the shipping process. You (the buyer) will have to be responsible and take the issue to the postal service.
